Why Sestri Levante in Liguria?
Perhaps it was fate, maybe coincidence – in any case, it was the best thing that could have happened to us. Independently of each other, we both ended up in the small and beautiful Ligurian town of Sestri Levante and had the good luck to meet each other in 2005.
Right from the start we both fell in love with the unique “Baia del Silenzio” (Bay of Silence). Its unusual atmosphere cast a spell over us that could not be broken. And so, Sestri Levante became our home.
How did Liguriaplus begin?
In the last few years, we have got to know more and more about Liguria and became passionate about the Ligurian cuisine with its fish and seafood specialities, the unforgettable views of the Ligurian coast, the art and culture, the many small trattorias and wine bars, the unique bays and beaches, the little family-owned shops, the cultural city of Genoa, the mentality and way of life of the Italians and much, much more.
In 2008, we decided to try and share the passion we felt for this wonderful destination with other people. We both enjoy working and meeting with other people and to have fun in the process. And so Liguriaplus came into being – our own company which specialises in individually created travel solutions and offers the advantage of our local knowledge and presence in your chosen destination.
